Highlights of Our Event

- SEF has the unique opportunity of being the "Opening Act" for the unveiling of the new Stowe Mountain Lodge, clearly one of the most luxurious new (soon-to-be) Five Star resorts in the world! Their tag line - "In the midst of nature . . . and the height of luxury". Guests of this event will be the very first to be a part of history and to soak up the luxurious atmosphere, dining and ambiance that surely awaits.

- We are creating an event which will, fittingly, be as fabulous as our surroundings - red carpet all the way!

- A giant search light will fill the skies over Stowe to guide you to your destination on time. Arrive at the Red Carpet by 5pm - perhaps by limo or experience the convenience of the Resort's valet service. The flashing cameras of the paparazzi will excite you and transport you to that grand era of Hollywood's Golden years - when Bogie and Bergman reigned supreme. Enter - Casablanca and a night to remember!

- 5pm- Step into the Grand Lobby and you will be served a glass of champagne. Your eyes will begin to scan this Grand Room for familiar faces, and perhaps some famous ones, lucky enough to attend what will surely be hailed as Stowe's finest event ever!

- 5:30 - After all the "hellos" and a champagne toast to the evening ahead you will be directed to "Rick's Cafe Americain" Auction & Casino Ballroom for games, silent auction bidding and passed Hors D'Oeuvres & Drinks. Ladies, how does a Pomegranate Martini sound? Our signature Moroccan themed drink for the evening.

- Perhaps you would like to hear Sam "Play it Again" on his Piano or try your hand with Lady Luck at one of our professionally operated casino tables.

- 7pm - The doors of the Ballroom open. An elegant three course meal (pre-chosen Beef, Fish or Vegetarian) awaits you in the 350 seat spectacular Tamarack Ballroom. Executive Chef Sean Buchanan (recipient of Vermont's Department of Agriculture's "Buy Local" award two years in a row) an up and coming star in his own right, will prepare and serve the evening meal. Wander out onto the Terrace in the early evening twilight and find yourself in familiar territory, set in the budding Spring vista of Mount Mansfield. The dance floor beckons as you are swept up by the reminiscent sounds of that Golden Era performed by the magnificent 15-piece Swingin' Vermont Big Band.

- 8:45pm - Rusty Dewees, with his characteristic wit and charm, will take the "mic" center stage as our MC and auctioneer for the evening as you enjoy your dessert and after dinner beverage.10 - Midnight - For the young at heart and late night revelers Newton Wells of Peak DJ will turn up the heat for dancing until midnight.
